Hello,
I currently have a FX 4100 and a GTX 750 Ti currently.

I'm looking at upgrading my GPU.
I'm looking at the GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1060.

I'm looking at these specific GPUs due to my budget, also the same reason why I'm not upgrading the CPU.

All I wanted to know is there going to be any bottleneck with these?
Also would AMD be a better choice?

Thank You, :) :)

Solution
No more than a 1050 ti would be my recommendation. An FX 4100 will likely bottleneck even a 1050 ti quite a bit in modern more CPU heavy games. In less CPU heavy or older games you will likely see a decent performance boost with a 1050 ti vs the 750 ti.

Depends. Where I live AMD cards tend to be more expensive at the moment, the 1050, 1050 ti, 1060 and up are the best cards in their price range. If you are asking if it's better to pair and AMD CPU with an AMD GPU then no it doesn't matter. The CPU does not care what brand of GPU it is paired with.

Stick with a gtx 1050ti, go with one of the best models of it, like a gtx 1050ti g1 by gigabyte, and try to overclock that as much as possible, anything higher will give you a bottleneck.
