Need help with migrating OS

Hi.
My problem is that i want to migrate my windows which is on my hard drive to a ssd. I know how to do it but the problem is that I don’t know if my desktop apps and folders will be still there. And if they don’t remain, how can i retrieve them?

The Windows Desktop and it's contents are part of the Windows installation on the HDD - -- so it follows that if you migrate the OS to another storage device, the contents of the Desktop will be included.

You're wanting to clone the content from one disk to another? If so, Acronis might be what you're looking for.

Also, depending on the SSD you purchased, it might already include cloning software as well.
