I have previously created a thread..on this topic but the problem is not gone..
First of all my PC specs:
HP Elite 8200 MT
I5 2320 3.0ghz
8gb DDR3 1333mhz ram
Hp 320w psu (default)
Zotac GTX 1050 OC
bios version:2.15
Windows 10
Lets get to the problem..
I bought a gtx zotac gtx 1050 2gb after researching that non 6 pin power gpu will work with the psu of hp..and i put it in my pcie x16 slot which is black in colour,(look at picture):

and seated it correctly..the bought an vga to hdmi active converter as my monitor was vga supported..turned on the pc..gpu fans and all other fans were spinning as normal...but no display,even the bios screen wasnt there, the green light of monitor was flashing snd it was written no display..then i lost my hopes...but after that i decided to put it in another pcie x16 but which was downgraded to x4..means i would not get the full potential..it is white slot..look in the pic attatched.
surprisingly it worked and all booted up and i installed drivers and started playing games..of course fps were not like normal gtx 1050 but a good descent gameplay...i also had a gt 630 and tried to put it in x16 slot but no luck..in white slot which was downgraded to x4 everything worked perfectly..but after continuous 2 hours of gameplay, the computer unexpectedly shuts down everytime, i know the gpu is not getting the full power as in the hp manual it says that the x 16 slot provides 75w while the x4 slot provides 35w..so this is the problem..i also disabled pci serr generation in bios..nothing happened..and a last point which i noticed was that when i started the pc with gpu in x16 slot no display would come but i tried and removed the video cable with convertor from gpu and put it in the onboard vga port and suddenly the logon screen came..means the pc boots up but no display..and then i tried to switch it back to gpu but no response, black screen an not even a voice which come while removing usb.what is the problem please help me as it is not good to play on the x4 slot and gpu also dont provide full power.in the bios, in devices,there was a onboard graphics option which was greyed out with enabled..i cant click on that..Thanks in advance!
