Brother's computer takes up all the bandwidth

To preface: My brother and I are into competitive shooters that require a good ping, and we both have computers about the same distance from the router.

Every time I'm on by myself, I have really good connection, as we have a good internet service, but every time he gets on it takes web pages minutes to load and I start getting kicked from matches if I can even get in at all. We have the same internet card, mine being a few months older but neither being over a year or so old, just he broke one of the antennas off of mine in an accident.

I've looked and looked but I can't find something that works. I've even set his qos to low and mine to highest.

If anyone can help that'd be great :)

You will need to spend about $70, but a pair of AV2-1000 or AV2-1200 powerline adapters will greatly increase your bandwidth and decrease latency. HERE is a great site to compare models.

You plug one in down by the router and the other next to your computer and use an Ethernet cable with each (usually supplied with the kit).

It will allow him to use the wireless, but you will still have better latency and bandwidth.
