Hi guys,
I have a new r7 1700x with 16gb ddr4 3000mhz and a b350 gaming pro carbon motherboard, MSI I believe. My GPU is a 1060 6gb and I have a 750w CoolerMaster power supply.
So the gist of it is I was watching a Linus Tech Tips video on overclocking the r71700x, So I went ahead and made the same changes he did in my BIOS. Then when saving and restarting my PC turns on for a few seconds and then shuts off immediately and could probably go on and on if I didnt shut my PSU off.
I might note that the ram is set to 2933mHz if I recall. I dont know the details but I think there might be a problem with the ram speed and AMD but idk.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank You

Get the online manual for your MB and look for the BIOS reset jumper, or button. This should return your MB to default settings. R
removing and reinstalling the battery can work also.
You can't just copy other peoples settings, you need to proceed step by step and do stability and cooling tests along the way. Most likely you haven't damaged anything. It's shutting down to prevent that.

Don't freak out, your pc is not dead

Actually you can let it fail to boot and it should work fine, recent motherboards will detect that the system is failing to boot and will reset the bios automatically (typically after 3 attempts)

Or unplug pc take out bios battery and hold down power button for 30 sec

William's method will work as well
