Intel d945gcnl motherboard

I am using a d945gcnl motherboard and a 1.6ghz Pentium processor. When I checked the Mobo specification it shows that motherboard itself has a integrated graphics which is the 82945g express chipset.

So my question is does this integrated graphics belongs to processor or a motherboard. Does this motherboard comes with inbuilt gpu

I also read somewhere that there are some motherboards where there are no gpu but only video output ports. If that is true then such motherboards won't display bios without a gpu from processor or a dedicated graphics. So if that is the case will motherboards having integrated graphics already inbuilt show bios when connected to monitor and powered. Also do we need a processor to update bios in such motherboards as we can already access bios without a processor.

Pls also suggest a good build with a graphics cars using the same Mobo

a good builkd with a d945gcnl motherboard...

before I answer this question, and waste time and your money, what are your expectations with building this system?
you do realize that the d945gcnl can at best run a Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 CPU (ref: http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Core_2_Duo/E6700.html)
Aside running it for a workstation, I see no real reason to build a 10 years old system at all.

that said here is how you can budget wise and how I would build this to not waste any monies than needed.
using red: https://ark.intel.com/products/50369/Intel-Desktop-Board-D945GCNL as a launching pad
This is the best config I would use with it. since 2GB is max ram , I would use Linux on it, not windows.
