Okay so in the next month i am planning to purchase a new CPU, RAM and MOBO however i have not finalized my decisions and am unsure which motherboard i should buy?
What motherboard should i get with my build? I am not looking to spend a crazy amount but i want to future proof my PC and make sure the MOBO is compatible with my components.
I am looking to purchase the Intel i7 8700k processor with 16GB DDR4 memory (any suggestions?) and a new Motherboard as an upgrade to my current gaming PC (see below)
This is my current build before any upgrades:
CPU - AMD FX 8320 3.50GHz AM3+ 8 core processor OVERCLOCKED to 4.0GHz w/ Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
GPU - MSI GTX 770 4GB Twin Frozr
PSU - EVGA Supernova 850 G2 80 Plus Gold
MOBO - Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
H.D.D - Western Digital Pro Red 3TB
RAM - Corsair VENGEANCE Pro series DDR3 2x8GB (16GB) 2400MHz
CASE - Corsair Obsidian 750d
