Currently have an archer c5 v 1.20 that drops the 5ghz band very often and slows down quite a bit under a heavy load. I'm looking to replace it with something like http://. However while looking through the various features the asus website mentions the router having mu-mimo while other websites mention that it doesn't. Is this a feature I should care about with a 20-30 device load at most given times? If it is would http:// be better or http://.

mu-mimo works with AC devices that specifically state the support. The list is short right now, but it is looking like it will be the next trend.
It works best with stationary devices.
