Im running two gtx 1080s in sli and while browsing the web my pc suddenly froze then restarted. After restarting no gpu was detected. On device manager both gpus had the yellow ! triangle and the displayed error 43. If i only use gpu #1 everything works fine but gpu#2 is the one giving me the error and black screen. I tried putting gpu#2 in the slot where the other gpu is and i get the black screen. Gpu#2 seems to work, fans are running, it lights up. It just shows the error in device manager when in sli or when its by itself it just shows a black screen. I have tried Dp and hdmi to rule out faulty port and the problem persists. Is my gpu broken? Is it something else causing this? any way to fix it?

Seems pretty clear the video card has issues if one works fine but other in same situation does not. Error 43 is a power error, can be from a failing power supply or the card. Since the same type of card works in the system, PSU issue is not very likely.
