I got a new cpu recently and I’m trying to replace the old one but I cannot get the old cpu out.

I managed to remove the cpu and replace it with my amd fx8350
The motherboard is an ASUS m5a78l. But I now have another problem. The pc turns on, but the mouse, keyboard and monitor do not work.
