Hi guys,

Sorry, I didn't know under which category to post this and I'd like to ask one of the admins to move it if I was wrong. Thanks.

I'm wondering if it's possible to send the signal of my cable TV channels subscription to another person (privately) who is located in another country through a computer to computer based connection.
A friend of mine asked me so he can watch from time to time the live sports (football games, tennis, etc.)
Unfortunately, we couldn't find anything related to this on Google that's why I'd like to ask anyone to help us out.
There are any specific hardware that I need?

Thanks a lot, really appreciated...

Wow, is that so? Can you explain me why, please? Just for my future knowledge... Cheers!

Right, got it. Thanks a lot. Next time I do know what's all about... But could you tell me if it's possible to do it? Or am I asking for more here? If you can't answer because of the forum rules just let me know, please and I'll close the thread. Have a good one and thanks again...

Set a webcam in front of the TV, and train your dog to change channels when your friends asks for ;)

Now, seriously: The TV signal you're getting is not "yours", you are only allowed to watch it, period. Even making a video with your phone and posting it online would be breach of contract. So, tell your friend to find a legal way to watch whatever he/she wants to watch.
