Wifi slow on only one pc regardless of wifi adapter used

I'll preface this by saying I'm forced to use wifi in the sharehouse house I'm living at (for Uni) and have no access to the actual modem, so ethernet is not an option annoyingly.

Anyway, I've been having this weird problem lately where the download speeds on my main PC, and only on my main PC, slow down significantly and stay that way until I turn the computer's wifi off and on again. Normally I should be hitting about 80-100mbps on sites like fast.com but once it slows down, I can't even get past 900kbps, if I get further than 300.

I originally bought a pci wifi adapter (tp-link TL-WN881ND) to upgrade from a usb one I borrowed from a friend in the same house. That worked for a while and then ended up doing the same thing. I thought it was faulty or something so I wound up getting a much better one (Asus PCE-AC56) to really make sure I would get the speeds I should be getting but that actually ended up having the same result as the other two.

At this point, I thought it must be something on the computer itself, so I reset windows 10, removing the files but not cleaning the drives. Much to my frustration, the same problem happened. Then I switched back to the original usb adapter, which worked well for a day, but has now come full circle and gone bad again with the same problem.

It'll go from downloading things on Steam at 5-8MBps and then after a few seconds, it'll be completely gutted and go down to 100KBps. This doesn't happen with my phone or my laptop that I use for Uni work, nor does it happen to my friend's PC in the next room. The only things left I could think are causing it is either something attached to the PC (like something connected via USB), the PC's hardware itself, or if the drives needed to be cleaned when I reset windows 10.

Is there anything I'm missing? Any help would be extremely appreciated, even if it's just a nod in the right direction because I am totally lost at this point.

Solution
Clearly something is up with this computer, since other devices work fine and this happens on all hardware. Like you, my first thought was software, but since you reset Windows 10, that is now unlikely. The only other thing unique about this computer (sounds like a desktop if your putting in PCI-e cards) is it's location. Is it possible to move the computer or even turn it 90 degrees? Is it possible that something near the computer is spitting out interference?

Let us know.
