ryzen 3 1200 + gtx 1050 ti very poor performance

hi , i assembled my pc a few months ago , these are the specs :
ryzen 3 1200 3.1 ghz
msi gtx 1050 ti oc
8x1 gb ddr4 2133mhz
msi a320m bazooka
storage : 2tb hdd + 120 gb ssd
for the most part the computer performs fine , nothing really great but fine and if i play something open world or cpu intensive it completely struggles like bf1 multiplayer i cant get past 60 fps even on lowest settings , gpu usage is about 20% and cpu is 100% all the time
i was thinking the problem must be with my ram as ryzen cpu's need fast ram and i only have one stick so its single channel , i play on a 1600x900 75hz monitor
if anyone has any suggestions i will be most grateful

EDIT : first , thank you guys for your suggestions
secondly , after months of saving up , i swapped my 1 stick of 8gb 213mhz ram with a dual channel 2x4 kit ( planning to add another kit next month) , the kit is originally 2666mhz and i managed to overclock it to 2933mhz which helped the pc A LOT , bf1 was finally running at 45 + fps on high settings at cpnquest mode with 55+ players on the map , and i recently swapped my mobo with a b350 prime plus from asus and i oc'ed my cpu up to 3.8ghz and every single game has significantly improved in performance , no more fps drops no more stuttering , GONE ! i even swapped the monitor to a 1080p one and i couldn't be more happy , THANKS GUYS !

Your hardware is...
This is a clear sign of cpu bottleneck, if you can confirm the frequency of your cpu usage. You run bf1, you can tell if you have thermal throttling or not. If they are not thermal throttling, then it’s just you cpu is not as powerful and there is nothing much you can do besides upgrade the cpu, since your motherboard doesn’t support overclocking. Also ryzen tends to run faster with ddr4 dual channel at higher frequency, but all that require upgrade hardware , if you have some spare cash, I would suggest getting a 1500x or 1600.

i wil check the temperatures and will post my results , i will upgrade but only if i'm sure that it would solve the problem otherwise it might just be a huge waste of money , i'm from Tunisia and everything is VERY expensive here especially pc parts if you can find them LOL , i found 2 ram sticks : 2x8gb 2400mhz with xmp2.0 support from about 240 us dollars

save yourself some cash. just pick up another dimm the same speed and size as the old one. there not much speed wize between a 2100 or 2400 ram sticks. your better off having 16g of ram for less money then 8g. with windows 10 and games the more system ram you have the better it is now.

A 1200 is fine to pair with a 1050ti, there is not a bottleneck. The single stick of 2133 RAM may be the issue for some applications, but it wont affect all of them the same way. If all of your games you are getting 20% GPU usage, then there is another issue other than only one stick of RAM. Go to userbenchmark.com and run a bench. Leave a link here to your results.

The 1200 is on the same level as the g4560,you are not supposed to get 60FPS in multiplayer with that tier of cpu.

no , not all games just the ones which are really cpu intensive ( bf1 , star wars battlefront 2 , ac : origins .. ) all other games run butter smooth , it's just that sometimes i get frame skips i think it's the ram' that's really holding back the computer
EDIT : here are the benchmark results : http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/8466032

Your hardware is fine. You are just playing AAA games with hardware below the minimum requirements. The 6600k is the minimum CPU for BF1 and the 1200 is no 6600k. The only real benefit the 1200 has is that it is unlocked and you have a board that does not support overclocking. This is why I would never recommend a320 board for a gaming rig. Your cheapest option is to get another stick of RAM and see if it works with the system. Playing at 720p will help you get your framerates up too. But in the end, you will need a new CPU to play the CPU heavy games.

even though everything you said makes sense , but i saw tons and tons of videos on youtube playing at ultra settings well above 60 fps with the exact same specs , thanks anyway :)

Good point, but with the addition of dual channel RAM will allow the CPU to push the GPU a little bit more. But it wont be a miracle either.

Hi, 1200 is very good cpu for 1050ti when built well.
First easy way to improve your fps by using two ram sticks. Dual channel ram gives much more performance. 2X4 gb 2400 speed should help a lot.

Secondly u can upgrade your motherboard to b350 so u can overclock 1200. It will further increase your fps by big number. or buy 1300X or 2200G which are much higher clocked versions of ryzen.
