Hello, very recently my PC some times crashes (sound distorted, Drop in fps, system lags as in mouse moving very slow, Ctrl alt DEL not working)
I did a Graphics card stress test with MSI Kombustor 3 with no issues as low temps, fan didn't even turn on.
I ran Intels CPU checker and it passed.
I ran cpu-z stress test and had I had open hardware monitor running, tests at high as 59C which is low.
What tests should i run to double check my system? this issue happens once in a while? sometimes games open with low fps? ( I restart then it runs fine ) some times my pc crashes with background apps open while playing games?
My pc build it like 2 and half years old ...
I was thinking that this issue could be my power supply dying? maybe when my graphics card is needing more power running games then my cpu is playing yt music vid's in background my psu is on its dying legs and is failing to give power? just a hunch.
My PC spec is:
i7 4790k
msi pc mate mother board
16gb crucial low cas 1600 memory
GTX 960 msi
silver or gold psu 500 or 550.
