Logitech Mx Master won't connect to laptop any way!

I have been using the Mx Master for over a year now. I usually connect it through bluetooth. It suddenly stopped working last night. I found out the bluetooth driver was not up-to-date, so I removed the device, updated the driver then attempted to reconnect but it wouldn't connect. I tried using unifying receiver but the mouse just froze every time I plugged it in. Can someone please help me with this issue please?

"unifying receiver" - do you mean "universal receiver" perhaps.

If so, such devices can be quite problematic.

The "universal" designation can be quite broadly applied and is often misused.

And the devices themselves tend to be poorly made and without any quality control to screen out faulty ones.

Do you have some way of obtaining another receiver to test and try? Borrow from family or friends?

And do try the mouse and receiver on another computer system. Just to eliminate a problem with your current laptopl

It's charged. The battery indicator is 2/3 green. I got it connected through bluetooth again yesterday but still no luck with the unifying receiver.
