So I have run into a problem, which I don't want to go into detail with, with my computer. Only solution i have found is to remove my hard drive and use a usb kit to extract the flies. So I was just wondering if this would work. Would their be any issues involved with doing this.

Solution
There should be no issues with doing it. You can buy either an enclosure to put the drive in for semi-permanent use or a dock to place it on for a temporary solution. Expect to need an outlet for desktop hard drives, as a power supply will be included in either option. If it is a laptop drive there is a good chance it will function with USB power.
