Hello!!

I've just completed my new build today.
My system:
X299 taichi
i9 7900x
32gb crucial 2666 memory (2x16)
Gigabyte GTX 1080ti
500gb samsung nvme 850 evo
240gb kingston ssd sata III
3TB Seagate HD Sata III
Noctua NH-D15
Corsair RM-850X
Corsair 600Q

I get no video through the HDMI connection on my video card. I'm really nervous because I can't get to the bios (since the chipset has no integrated graphics) without the video card plugged in to test if the problem is with the graphics card or with the motherboard.

The system is brand new, I've built everything tonight and have been for hours and hours trying to get it to work with no success. The dr. debug led on the motherboard has the red light to the side turned on and is displaying the code: "E5". There is no bug information related to this on the manual and i've tried searching the web for it and found nothing.

Please help me, I'm can't know for sure if the problem is with the motherboard or the graphics card (which is brand new and should be working as well).

Thanks

Does your PSU have 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe power connectors?
Did you connect them both, the 8-pin and 6-pin power cables, to the GPU?
Make sure the GPU is seated properly.

If that isn't the issue then try with only one memory stick.

Both pins are connected. I've tried to change the cable and also to connect two cables (one with just the 8pin and one with just 6pin). Tried also to connect with just one memory stick. :(

Check all power cables coming from the PSU and make sure everything connected properly.
Just leave the GPU, and one stick of RAM. Try different RAM slot.
Can you access the BIOS?

Try another GPU, if you have one lying around.
