I have a Dell Latitude E5530 that doesn't power on...I have just ordered a new AC replacement adapter that is supposed to work with Dell Latitude E5530 as well as other adapters see here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/201632354542

on the bottom of the laptop it said that it used 19.5 V and the amps looked correct for the ac adapter...and it was powering on and after a few seconds was powering off...before I was using an adapter that had stronger amperage than what I needed and it wasn't powering the laptop...and after a few seconds it would power off and the battery light would be flashing.

Even with the new replacement adapter the same thing is happening...I checked it for overheating and it doesn't feel hot...but after I took the keyboard off the cpu fan stopped turning and it would just power off...I've tried hold the power button with the battery out and the adapter not plugged in to release excess charge...I've tried it with only the battery plugged in...I've tried turning it on with only the AC adapter plugged in and without the battery...the same thing happens...powers off after a few seconds...PLEASE HELP.

Thanks in advanced for any helpful response/answer to solve this.

Possibly a PSU problem or an overheating problem.

CPUs heat up very quickly and shut down just as fast. Seconds perhaps and not enough time to even let the laptop warm up to the point where you can feel the heat.

Are you able to test the PSU and check the CPU (thermal paste)?

If not find a friend or family member who can help. Otherwise get the laptop checked as soon as you can.

Trying different things may cause more damage. Perhaps beyond repair.
