Which is the best and cheapest Game Controller(Gamepad) for PC that supports all the games?

I have heard that most of the gamepads of unknown brands which are cheap doesn't support most of the games even if they have Xinput and Dinput switches in them. So I want to buy a reliable gamepad that supports most of the modern games and also has a xinput and dinput switch. I don't want to fiddle around in the setting to configure my gamepad to play a game.

Solution
I have been using the Rock Candy Xbox 360 controller for years. $20
The real reason I like it is because it feels very comfortable in my hands,
even better than "real" Microsoft controllers.
All of the buttons and triggers have rounded edges. I can play for hours and it won't hurt my hands.

But the main reason I bought it is because it looks cool and it was cheap.
It was supposed to be my 'Ready Player Two' controller, but It's my #1 controller now.

(it comes in Blue, Pink, Red, Green and Lime.)

Thanks for the reply I will consider this controller but I researched for sometime and I think Logitech f310 will be best for me since it supports both Xinput and Dinput and has support for vast number of games. I also plan to use the controller with my Android Phone. And it has an excellent official support with software and community forum in case of any problem. It is priced around same. What do you think?

It's also which controller holds up to abuse the best and is comfortable, there would be no point in me for example buying a DS3 because it's not comfortable. I know the bog standard Xbox One S controller (with Bluetooth) connects to pretty much everything and has high compatibility and build quality.

What do you think about the Logictech F310 Controller?

The Rock Candy is 100% Xbox 360 compatible with Xinput and Dinput.
It has required absolutely zero support in 7 years.
I have not tried to use it with my phone.

The Logitech controller looks small and has a different layout of the D-pad and stick on the left side.
More like a PlayStation controller. The ABXY buttons are smaller.
I see sharp edges on the triggers that may be uncomfortable.
And (subjectively) it looks cheap and ugly to me.
The Rock Candy is inexpensive, high quality and cool.
It's your call.

It has side by side joysticks which I personally don't like and they are convex which aren't as good as concave sticks so you'd probably want to put some tips on it, it's wired. The D-Pad looks mushy and the buttons look tiny including the bumpers and triggers which may not even be analogue which could cause issue in things like driving games. Personally I'd go with the updated Xbone controller as it is better than the 360 controller, is wireless and is the best controller on the market that isn't custom. But if you're really trying to not spend much JoeMommas suggestion is decent.

Yes you are right but I just looked at the price and its around 75$ where I live. But the Logitech F310 is just around 41$. It is almost double the price. So that's really bad for me.

Thanks for the suggestion I will look into this too. Yes I just looked into this and this is not available where I live. Even if I try to find this it maybe priced at around 80$ where I live.
