To begin with, here are my specs:
Windows 10
i7 860
12GB RAM
Seagate ST1000DM003
Seagate ST3500410AS
So my computer has been acting up lately, especially after booting up. I get to the desktop and every action I make, whether it's opening Chrome or opening a folder, the computer freezes. Sometimes I can move the mouse around, sometimes I can't. But one thing I noticed is that there is a sound coming from my computer synchronized with this freeze. It sounds a lot like a hard drive slowing down and speeding back up. It could be a fan, but I doubt it.
I ran SeaTools on both drives and passed every test. I'm not sure if it's the hard drives, maybe someone could help me.
Thanks
