Hey,
So from like 7-9 days i suppose, whenever i open CS:GO it works fine but after playing it for 5-7 mins. FPS drop from 140-160 to 80-90. It is really annoying and unplayable. I play at LOW settings now to get 100-110 FPS.
A software called "ROG Gaming centre" let me keep track on my CPU and GPU temp.

Before playing game:
CPU temp. 66 degree C
GPU temp. 63 degree C

While Playing game:
CPU temp. 83 degree C
GPU temp. 79 degree C

Specs: i7 7th Gen , 1050 Ti , 8 GB RAM and 1 TB HDD with Win 10 and my laptop is not even 1 year OLD "ASUS GL553 VE".

I tried disabling Game DVR, "wait for Vertical Sync " which is an in-game video option and updated my nvidia drivers and windows too.
and i think that i might be happening with every game in my laptop, because it feels sluggish/lagging while playing them. I'm not sure, no FPS count on cracked games.
If someone is facing same problem then please respond.

Solution

If you are using the fans and still having thermal throttling. You might need to take your laptop to get the thermal paste replaced or check for a dead fan inside. OC settings high than the capacity of the GPU usually decreases it's speed to default clock which of course you aren't doing so that's not the problem. Hardware problem is suspected.

It's thermal throttling, maybe your cpu or GPU suffering due to this. Try using a laptop cooling pad. You will definitely see the improvements. Also do note about overclock settings because if you have exceeded the limit of OC you might need to put the pedal down a bit.
