i wanted to check my network usage over the last 30 days so i did and i noticed that my system has used 40.37 GB, my steam usage was 48 gb and my browser was 37 gb, i don't know why my system is using so much data, virus?, i did just reformat my pc 2 weeks ago it just seems weird that it's using so much data.

You recently did an OS install?
Windows updates, and updates for everything else.

The only way to know what has been downloaded is to keep track of it over time. You can't retroactively find out what used your bandwidth last week.

Why not reset usage and monitor for a while? 1 have 1.7gb usage by system in last 30days. So something in the region of 2 to 4 gb is likely to be expected under standard operation. But remember 30th April brings a larger than usual Win 10 update
