All USB Ports in my Lenovo G470 (20078) are not working just providing power.. PleaseHelp!

I have tried my phone and it only provide power and not a data connection. I have also a 8GB USB stick and also did not work with my laptop. both my phone and usb sticks works on my desktop.
I reinstalled win 10 via other pc by taking out the laptop HDD because i cant even boot USB with this laptop..
now I have updated all the usb driver and controllers. and still did not work. all the ports are not working. there's 3 ports which is soldered and another one was wired near the charger port (checked the cable and it plugged in well,) some how still no luck.
tried reinstalling and no luck also.
and i have also a camera that wasn't detected.. i was searching for the cable coming from the lcd. and only found one and it was the LCD. I guess it was combined..
I installed the camera drivers but when opening the windows 10 camera app. it shows no camera connected ...

I don't really know because my friend gaved it to me , but I didn't notice this problem.
but the mfg was 2011 so um like 7 years already? maybe less
the laptop came with windows 7, and now i installed it with windows 10...

Try a BIOS reset to default settings. Are there any BIOS settings relating to USB, namely controllers themselves.

At this point it's possible the motherboard is failing. What settings are showing in BIOS relating to USB? If USB 8GB drive is plugged in, does it show up in BIOS?

No it was not. I was trying to install windows 10 using my bootable usb and it was not detected at all. but it has a usb legacy funtion but still no luck ..

You really have to learn how to use Google. It is possible to answer your question yourself by spending a couple of minutes searching.

and guys, I have also this thing since the last OS before I installed my own OS an safely remove hardware thing.., also it is still in my OS still. anyone know why? I have no idea..

don't waste your money...this product is not designed for that kind of uses.
it doesn't work like usb port.
check for any shorts then just unplug your camera's cable and check again

well, its only couple of dollars I wouldn't mind, I have 4 soldered into board ports so. Inspected them and they are great and provide power. and other one more port is cabled and checked it good.

unfortunately I can't find camera cable. there,s only 1 cable and its the monitor. maybe is its combined...

btw I have one port looking like e sata maybe and I can insert usb and its not working just provide power..

well I hope that thing I bought works haha..

to unplug your camera,open the bezel and unplug the cable from the camera board.
that thing you bought doesn't provide 5v to the usb and as i said it's not designed for such things.but nvm...good luck
