Will Freesync work with DisplayPort 1.2, not 1.2a? I have a DisplayPort 1.2 cable and the monitor I'm going to buy has a DP 1.2 port, so does my graphics card. So, will Freesync work?
PS. I'm confused because on AMD websites and everywhere else it says only DisplayPort 1.2a works with Freesync. Why?
