Hello everyone, I was trying to format my SD card as internal storage, my screen turned off in my android while it was formatting as internal storage, I thought it would complete the format in the background even if screen is turned of so I left it for couple of time and when I unlocked my lockcreen of my android the SD card was corrupted and It was unable to use.
I did the following.

I went to disk management,
There was two partition on Removable storage(which is my sd card from card reader)
one partition was 16MB and another was 29.98 GB (actually I had bought 32 GB of SD card which was 29.99GB shown in my android ).

I tried to delete 16 MB healthy partition and 29.98 GB healthy partition but none of them deleted. it showed me "the request could not be completed because of i/o error.
there was no option in diskmgmt except "delete volume" but when I tried to delete volume the above error was shown
and also I noticed that there was file system shown on other disks but there was no file system type shown on that sd card drive
i also tried command prompt and typed "chkdsk G:(my sd card)/f
but it said "The type of the file system is RAW.
CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives."

Please guide me what to do

Solution
That card could be corrupted (corrupt memory chips) - - - there is no fix for that.

As they are relatively cheap these days, just throw it away and buy a new one, you don't want to be using a suspect memory card anyway.

I recommend you buy a quality brand like SanDisk or Integral.
