Hello
I have a SanDisk Ultra 128gb MicroSD card that has become badly corrupted. I used it with my phone and it has over 3 years of photos stored onto it that I have not backed up anywhere else. The card became very corrupted, and I am struggling to get data off of it. This is the output I got from the command prompt when trying to scan it:
I cannot move, copy, or delete anything on the card. I am still able to see the file directory and files, however. I've tried backing up the card using Windows pre-installed backup software, that failed. I tried using imaging software to create an image of the card, this also failed. I've tried using data recovery software Recuva, this was able to recover some files, but mostly failed. I have only been semi-successful in copying small batches of files from the card.
The biggest problem I'm having with the card is that it will not stay connected to the computer. Many processes I have tried have all failed because the card ejects itself from the computer while the processes are running. Recuva can't scan past 955 files before the card ejects itself. It does this also while I am trying to copy things in small batches.
I can also not reformat the card. This has failed both on my phone and on the computer.
I am desperate to recover these photos, is there anything that can still be done? So far I am at a roadblock with this, and it seems that there is almost nothing that can be done, though I'm hoping I'm wrong.
I appreciate any input I receive.
