Should i keep this Power Supply or buy a new one ?

Hey , i got a 500w Power Supply in my Desktop PC , in May i will upgrade my computer
Current Specs :
Motherboard - Asus M5A78L-M LX3
CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 255 3.10 GHz
Graphics Card : Gigabyte Raedon R7 250 2GB
RAM : 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Windows 10 Pro
64 bits


i will upgrade the PC to :
CPU : AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti Phoenix 4GB
RAM : Add 8GB (1600Mhz aswell) so it will be 12GB DDR3


The thing is , will my 500w Power Supply be enough or no ?
i already did some tests in CoolerMaster PSU Calculator and it turns out that my pc specs will need 350w or something like that , but i still think 500w is too weak Power Supply for those specs , what do you guys think ?

It's more about quality than the wattage.

A good 550W PSU is plenty.

Seasonic Focus Plus.

EVGA G2 or G3

Corsair RMX.

Your Power supply will suffice.

You will notice a major improvement in performance.

Is it value for money, that depends on how much you are paying for the RAM,CPU and Graphics.

I agree with the previous post, look at your budget and see if you can stretch to a newer architecture.

If your budget does not stretch that far, then just upgrade the min.

Also pay attention to your RAM. If you only populate 3 slots out of 4, you will suffer a performance hit. I would recommend an extra 4GB of RAM over a new PS.

As long as you fill all slots on your motherboard with identical memory.

So 2x4 or 4x4
