Well, i lie if I say that there is no reason for not sticking with stock cooler. Currently im using intel stock cooler, and it started to be very very loud. I entered bios and put it in silence mod, and yes, there was difference but still not enough. It started to be loud in last 2 months. And to mention im takling of fan speed when idling- just using chrome like now. Now imagine playing fortnite where cpu usage is 90%. For the first maybe two or 3 weeks i didnt have any problems but now i have chronic pain in right ear, since my pc is on my right side. Just because of this case i dont want to use stock cooler anymore, no matter if it is from amd or intel. Plus i want to oc cpu so cooler will be louder for sure(probably louder than this piece of stock shit). I dont even want to talk about going to doctor next week just bcs of this pain in ear.....and no im not sarcastic

The stock cooler that comes with the 1600 is quite a capable cooler and runs the chip overclocked and under load quite silently. I think you'll be fine for a 3.7 GHz OC, don't bother with aftermarket cooling. Intel stock coolers are absolute piles of garbage, and Intel is at least 5 years behind AMD when it comes to providing decent stock cooling, which is saying quite a lot in the tech world.
