Hi all,

Thanks for taking a look at my issue.

So my PC has all of a sudden only recognising half of my RAM as "usable" after upgrading the CPU.

Specs of my machine are as follows
MSI 970G Motherboard
16gb HyperX Fury 1866 RAM
ASUS RX480 8GB GPU
AMD FX-8300 CPU - This i upgraded to an 8350.

I know that is the whole spec, but i dont think you need to know about the wifi adapter :)

So the things i have tried are as follows...
Re-seating all the components a number of times
Checked all RAM slots to ensure that both 8gb sticks are working and all slots
Checked for latest BIOS and chipset drivers.
Checked the boot settings (removed all numbers and unticked the box)

Aside from replacing the CPU with the original 8300 i have tried quite a few things.

I have been told that possibly raising the RAM voltage in the BIOS might be a solution, but wanted to see if there was anything else i could try as well.

Any help would be massively appreciated!

So i checked RAMMap and it says that a total or 8.4GB is there, I am about to run ZHP Cleaner so will see what that does

in bios is shows everything as it should do, 16gb or RAM, in two RAM slots, however when i boot into windows and right click and go to SYSTEM it shows "INSTALLED RAM 16.0 GB (7.95 GB Usable)
