With These companies being sued for price fixing, I only have one dire question (as I need ram to finish my build), Will ram prices go down??

Solution
It's happened before and they were guilty. Prices went up nearly 50% last year which is not in relation to demand so it will most likely happen again. But prices won't drop anytime soon. Last time it was 4 years before the verdict. That's not to say they won't drop prices now because it would increase their fine but it still won't happen that fast.

Sorry for asking for people opinions didn't think it would bother you that much, just thought that due to this happening before I could get some opinions i'll keep it to myself

Still no short term solution I see, guess I gotta get expensive ram ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It has dropped a little bit though which is good. Do you think that the increased dram production started a little bit ago will start to take effect though?

RAM is insane! Granted, they reached their peak back in Dec-2017 - Jan 2018, but you can see the initial spike started back in Sept 2017. I'm not saying that's when it started, but it's definitely a marker. So far, it's going down, but not nearly fast enough IMHO.

If there's price fixing going on (and IMHO I believe so), I hope those responsible get a painful hefty fine. Otherwise, the slap on the wrist will be part of their Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) where it's still profitable to conduct these shenanigans all while passing the cost of the fines back down to the consumer. If so, next fine needs to be a "Shock and Awe" event.
