I have an actiontec DSL modem. I recently added 6 new wifi bulbs ("no bridge required"), and a wifi outlet. After I added the them, I could no longer connect to my wifi with my windows laptop or my iphone. When I take the outlet off the network, I can log in with my iphone OR my laptop, but not both of them. Once the phone or laptop is on the network, the outlet can no longer connect. It's as though my router has reached it maximum number of clients (16 connected devices). I checked the netmask and should be able to accommodate 250+ ip addresses. There are no conflicting IPs on the network. I put in a question with the router vendor, but have not heard back. I'd appreciate any ideas/suggestions you might have. Thanks!

That's a good idea ^^^, I downloaded an app called Wifi Speed Test to my smartphone. I also downloaded it to one of my pc's and designated that as the "server". You then send packets back and forth (you can specify the size of the data sent). On the smartphone app, there is a screen that shows all of the wifi networks in range and the signal strength. If there are overlapping signals, you can select a different channel to use for your wifi. The app wasn't that intuitive to use, but I figured it out and it served it's purpose.
