So my title says it all. I am really tight on budget and there is a sale going on here so both cpu's are available at around $75.
My gaming requirements:-
Want to play games like AC origins, Far cry 5 at 720-900p at lowest settings with 30fps.

So which one should i go for?
My spec:-
Corsair 450watt psu
MSI GTX 750TI 2GB OC
4gbx2 ddr3 hyper x fury 1866mhz

Please dont suggest some expensive processors like i5 7xxx or Ryzen because my budget is tight like Kim's booty.

And maybe after 2-3 years i may replace my 750ti with a 1060.

Will buy the motherboard along with the processor be it LGA 1155 or 1151.

So please tell me which one will be better.

At 720p you should be fine with the GTX 750 Ti. 900p might force you to back off a tad more on settings. The upgrade to the GTX 1060 will be right at the margin for CPU bottleneck in some games. But it is still a safe choice. I've never been afraid of a little CPU bottleneck in some games if it meant faster frame rates in the rest.

What system do you have now. I saw your specs above, but still don't know what you're using now.

Hey Clutchc,
Thank you for the answer. Yes i want to keep my ram. So if i go for the i5 3470, will i be able to play this new games at a decent 30 fps on low at 900p? And in the future if i upgrade my card to something like gtx 1060, will it bottleneck the cpu?

Here is a benchmark for FC5 at 720p, 900p, and 1080p using the i5-3470 and GTX 750 Ti. Pay attention to the graphical settings used in the setup.

Hello thank you for the reply.
Currently i am using AMD A10 7850K with Gtx 1050 and 8gb 1866mhz hyperx ram. Last month my gtx 1050 was burnt due to voltage fluctuation maybe or maybe for other reason. So for this 1 month i used only the integrated graphics that comes with A10 7850k i.e r7 250. To my surprise i was able to run COD WW2 at 720p low settings and got a decent 25-30fps. Now i am not willing to invest much on a cpu. I sold my a10 7850k yesterday because i want to switch to intel. My total budget is USD 250 (In india its 16000 Inr approx) So on ebay u found a i5 3470, Gtx 750ti. Both are used and on amazon i will buy asus lga 1155 mobo. My main purpose is gaming but i dont want 1080p at Ultra @120fps. My needs are less. 900p-low-25-30fps. So will my system be fine? Probably by next year i will sell off my gtx 750ti and buy a gtx 1060.

Yes, the i5-3470/GTX 750 Ti combo should be fine with reduced settings until you can upgrade to a GTX 1060, RX 570/580. Did you check out the video I linked to above?

I'm afraid anything to do with Apple is out of my wheel house. Maybe start a new post or do a little Googling.
