my pc sits on a high desk it has a dust filter under the psu should i put my psu fan facing up or down?
also my new psu has a hybrid mode should i use this or normal mode?

If you have it on a desk you can normaly face the fan on the PSU down (depending on the case you got ofc).
If you have the case on the floor on a carpet I would let the PSU fan face inwards to the case.

If you have it pretty dusty around you (like if you hardly ever clean) then let the PSU draw air from inside the case also.
