HDD noise level

Hi all,
I have Toshiba x300 4Tb HDD, im very happy with the speeds and all, but its very very noisy when under the load. I was wondering if all 4Tb HDDs are this noisy? should i buy another 4Tb or should i get another 2x2Tb HDDs?
PS. I couldnt find any benchmarks for 7.2k noise levels.

All 4TB HDDs don't have the same noise level. Some are quieter than others. You may even have something faulty with the drive that is making it louder.

I wouldn't base "what you are going to buy" on the noise of "what you have".

I have a 4TB and 6TB WD HDD that are quiet and 1 TB WD that's incredibly noisy. I keep thinking its going to fail but it hasn't yet. I haven't noticed increased noise with increased drive sizes.

If you search for Noise in the reviews on Newegg it seems that its a common complaint for this drive.

I don't know if this helps but, I've had drives that have been noisy for years and still work.

I've had other drives that got noisy and failed right away.
