Hello all.
This is my first build and I'm learning new things all the time. I just bought some RAM, but now i was checking compatibility and I'm not seeing the part. I'm not sure if I'm overlooking something or if I need to buy different ram. The ram i purchased was 2x8b gb g skill ripjaws v series. I'll attach the link for it as well.
From my understanding as well, z170 ram will fit on other z series motherboards as well too.?
If its not compatible can someone recommend a model that will? I'd like to keep the speed between 2666mhz and 3200mhz and g skill brand (I've been told they have very reliable ram)

My build so far is a evga z-370 ftw motherboard, evga gtx 1080 ftw hybrid, corsair 780t case, and probably going with an evga 850w psu, intel i7 8700k, and Samsung 960 pro.
