I made a new build a while ago and had have been having trouble with CPU temps since then.

Before I jump into detail...

PC Part Picker: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tzxmkd

CPU: Core i7-7700K 4.2Hz

CPU Cooler: Corsair H60

Motherboard: MSI Z270M MORTAR Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Ram: Corsair Vengence RGB 32GB (4x16) DDR4-3200

Video Card: Corsair GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Hydro GFX Video Card

Case: NZXT H400i Micro ATX Mini Tower Case

Power Supply: Corsair- RMx 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

When I start up my PC and check the temps it seems to start around the 40s and stay between that and 48C with it sometimes jumping up to the around 58C. When I start to run something the temps will jump up to around 65-70C but quickly go to 75-80C. After a while of stress, it will peak around 85C jumping to that every few 20 seconds or so. Leaving my PC idle again after stressing it the temps stay between 46-54C.

I play a lot of PUBG and get really high temps there even though its only using 30%. I have not used this pump on any other CPUs nor have I used the CPU with any other PUMPs

Appreciate any help that can be provided, I don't really know what other information to add so ask as many questions as you need.

Solution
The H60 has a smallish radiator...

RUn the fans on high if you can. and, make sure your case airflow is unobstructed...

A 'mini-ITX' and 'cool temps' are rarely close companions.
