i am planning on upgrading my processor from an old i5 750 to the new 8th gen 8600k, i also want to do a mild overclock, about 4.5gHz and i want to make sure that i have a cooler that can support the temps that can come along with that. i was origininally looking at the MasterLiquid 120lite RGB AIO because its only 40$ right now and it seems like a good entry level water cooler. is it a good choice for a starter or should i go for something a bit bigger like a Corsair H60?

Hi valornrules,

There's no need to go to a noisy, unreliable AIO.
4.5GHz is very close to stock speed (4.3 on all core with multi core enhancement) so you'll probably not need to increase voltage (about 1.15V) sooooo, any air cooler will do great.
You could look for an EVO212, dark rock 3, Noctua NH12 etc...
Or you can take bigger to be able to play with it a little more with a Dark rock pro 3/4 or NH 15.
