Hi,
Currently I have 16GB G.skill Tridetntz RGB DDR4 2400 (2x8GB).
Now my question is get a different RAM like G.Skill Ripjaws or Corsair vengeance (2x8GB) DDR4 2400.

1) Will they be able to work together to get 32GB?
2) Also will I still be able to control RGB on Tridentz?
3) Finally will I be able to overclock the RAM like normal without any hickups?

The motherboard I'll be using will be AMD X470, haven't decided which one.
Processor Ryzen 7 2700x.

Thanks :)

Solution
Its not recommended as there is defently issues with compatibility.

and if you plan to get an Ryzen 7 CPU they GREATLY benefit with the faster 3200Mhz ram

I would really get some faster ram IF you play any games as it helps a lot with the Ryzen CPUs (speaking from experience on an Ryzen 7 1800X)

what I would do is try and sell your current set if you can and get faster stuff :0

Thanks.
If I overclock the TridentZ 2400 to 3000Mhz. Will the performance gain be similar to buying the 3200Mhz?

Thanks

if they were rated 3000 in the first place, yes should be less than 10% from 3200
