Hi, so first i'll start off with my specs:

Nvidia GTX 980ti
i7 4790k
212 EVO Cooler
16GB Kingston RAM
500GB Kingston SSD
Windows 7 Home Prem 64-bit (Same problem persists with Win10 users)

and before you recommend, yes i've checked my task manager and no... my CPU is not using any power. My CPU idles around ~40c, in-game right now it's at ~67c. Like i said it's only when I close out of the game. I can alt+tab the game, and be just fine. But for some reason whenever I close the game, it lags super hard. Like moving the cursor, and program window's around it's like going from my 144hz, down to like 15hz. It's horribly choppy, and I'm not sure what to do. I've reinstalled directx manually, that didn't work. But everytime I reinstall my graphics drivers with Geforce Experience, it takes away my problem. But the problem will just continue to exist the next time I get on a game, and then log off again.. I've closed out Uplay after i've gotten off the game, but that didn't fix the problem.

Solution
What the problem seems like to me is that Windows is updating the drivers automatically, to a version that causes this problem. Disable automatic Windows updates, perform a DDU then install the drivers that seem to be working from Geforce Experience.
