New PC(/"Server") build (open budget) - Build advice needed.

My old "server" has run for a decade! - It's time for a new one.

And I need some advice/pointers with regards to parts - It's a jungle out there...

Budget is not a concern - But I prefer to not go absolute top tier but instead juuust below (diminishing returns and all that)
Not sure if it really matters for sourcing parts - But I live in Denmark.

I'm in love with Antec cases (Have had both P180 and currently P183), so it's time for my server to also get an Antec home.
This is really the only piece of kit I've decided on: The Antec P280 (I simply like the simple black monolith look - and the promise of low noise)

The server will most of the time simply be a webserver (with an MS SQL backing it).
It might however host a minecraft server once in a while - and who knows what'll turn up in the future.
It'll also be my domain server etc.

As this is a build for the long term (aka another decade perhaps), it should be build with plenty of overhead for what runs on it now, as the future will definitely demand even more.

Constraints:
It has to be low noise/silent
MB has to have 4 dimms. I'll probably only fill 2 for now (but if it also lasts a decade, the last two will definitely see use)
As much as possible - It has to be low power (Current server runs a Q8200S for comparison)
Onboard/onchip graphics (it'll be headless) (Does decent CPUs even exist today without them having a GPU?)

My current thinking is something along the lines of:

Perhaps a Pentium Gold G5400 - Huge question mark... I have no idea...

A B360 based MB (to ensure 4 dimms)??? Don't need a gamer MB for this afterall.
My old server is running a Gigabyte UltraDurable, and it has proven it's meddle, so I'm somewhat biased towards another one of those (caps are afaik one of the things one should not skimp on if endurance is a factor) - But if ASUS (or others) have something similar - cool.
But I have no idea which one to pick... (GigaByte alone has like 8-10 B360 ultra boards....)

2*8MB DDR4 RAM - and I'll probably double that down the road (as I did with my old server) - Not looking for ECC mem.

Storage: I'm thinking a Samsung SSD 960 EVO NVMe M.2 1TB (I'm new to the nvme game...)
Standard SSD would probable be fine? But I'm definitely looking forward to ditching mechanical drives going forward (except for mass storage)

Power supply - Something that will last... ???

So the above is (mostly) a lot of loose thoughts - I'll need you guys to steer me in the right direction for final parts.

If possible, when you make a recommendation, if you could argue why it would be a good choice (or point to a review/article) that would be much appreciated, then I might learn something in the process as well.

Thanks in advance.

Also for silence look to Noctua. While other brands have closed the gap in the last few years Noctua remains the quietest for performance fans/heatsinks. They cost more of course, but I've always found the extra cables and rubber screws they give you, even that price out in comparison to other brands. https://noctua.at/

Seasonic is a good brand to look at for the PSU. They offer 10 year warranty on almost all of their line up. https://seasonic.com/focus-plus-gold

This list ranks most of the brand lines into their quality tiers (tier 1 is best, tier 4-5 are hot garbage) https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/ Since you want this to last a long time I'd look for ones like the Seasonic that have really...
I'd be hesitant to build a server with just two cores, even with hyperthreading. I'd look more to an i3-8100 or an R3-2200G which gets you 4c/4t and 4c/8t respectively.

For B360 motherboards the Asus TUF line is one to look at. Though they've pivoted to targeting gamers with in the last few years. Originally it was their durability line. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/TUF-B360M-PLUS-GAMING/

Though frankly if it doesn't break in the first month any of them will continue to work that long so long as you don't get a power surge or other outside act of god.

Thank you - That is exactly the kind of answers I'm looking for.

You stopped a mistake (because of course I don't want just 2 cores - in this time and age - my bad) - and gave alternatives.
And even gave me some other MB's to look into.

So while I'm still a long way from the goal - Thanks a lot!
