I am mainly an fps gamer, so sound stage and sound imaging is very important to me (footsteps, doors, drops, etc.). I am running on a Gaming PC Rig, so PC compatibility would be a plus. I have been looking at a few headphones, but don't truly understand the sort of audiophile differences in them. My choices so far are the Sennheiser HD660, Sennheiser HD700, Beyerdynamic DT880 or 990. I would truly appreciate some insight on these or other headphones. Oh, and as far as amps or dac/amps, any recommendations? (Reading into amps can get me very confused at times hehe). I currently have Astro A40's, (basically Astro A50 wired version), they do pretty well with gaming, but I am looking for that next dimension game sense. Thank you.

I would recommend going with a Sennheiser brand. My friend has a pair and he absolutely loves them. Says they're the best quality headset he's ever had. Granted they were almost $250 AUD. I myself have a pair of Corsair's Void Pros. I play games such as PUBG, CS:GO and Rainbow Six. I find these headphones amazing. I tend to hear footsteps farther away and clearer than any of my friends. However, that could just be that I have my volume way too loud :/

Good Luck!
