I am building a pc with a Ryzen 5 2600x cpu, msi x370 gaming pro carbon, radeon rx 560 4gb gpu, and ripjaws 16gb 3200(f4-3200c16d-16gvkb) ram and a compatible power supply, etc. I try to boot the pc up to bios but it wont send any signals. I believe the ram is "too fast" for the other parts(I tested to make sure they are not faulty) but im not sure. Could you help?

Your motherboard supports 3200 ram, and i am sure the rest of your hardware is compatable with it as well. You said you try to boot to the bios but it wont send signals? So is the pc even posting, are you not getting any video? Need a little more info on what exaclty it is doing when you power it on.

Yea a friend told me there is a ram speed problem with ryzen processors. The pc is getting all power and everything works and has been tested(except the ram). This is my first build and Im not an expert but i think the ram is the problem. i dont know what else. I am not getting any signal or video to the monitor.

IF you have just an RAM issue you can just try 1 stick at a time.

Also be very careful as there is normally 4 slots to put the ram and if you put it in the wrong slots it wont boot up.

IF it works with 1 stick.. (and you have checked its in the correct slots) boot into bios and change the ram profile to what is recommended for your ram. OR a slower speed like 2400 and then try the second stick of ram..

I looked on the site and it does not appear to need an update. It is a new x370 gaming pro carbon

Ok then so we can probably move away from ram being the issue. Have you tried using onboard video when you boot the pc up. Also have you checked that you didnt accidentally plug something from the power supply where you were not suppose to?

You looked on the site??

The pro carbon has been on the market for some 14 months.

The bios required to run the refresh chips was released mid March ,6 weeks ago.

There's a massive (as in very very likely) your board is running a bios prior to that.

If it didn't have a ryzen 2000 ready sticker on the box then it's a certainty.

I looked on the website and that may be the problem. When I went to the tech store for my parts, I heard it was updated bt that might have been a lie.
