I dont play AAA or any new games so dont tell me future games need more ram etc, I only play Dota2/PUBG/Fortnite in 1080P 144hz monitor.
I also play pubg at all low except AntiAliasing at max. Also dont suggest any RX's it cost more than 400.

90 USD difference worth?

Palit Gtx 1060 storm x 3gb has 1 fan no backplate and no rgb.

Palit Gtx 1060 jetstream 6gb has 2 fans/backplate/rgb.

Chepeast 1060's i can find in my country due to price hike. Some 1050ti 4gb cost like 200-250USD so i find the 1060 3gb a steal deal but i dont know i its worth.

3gb is 280USD. Original price is about 200.(before the price hike)
6gb is 370USD.Original price is about 290.(before the price hike)

oh I was getting 125FPS at medium settings
I dont understand why you want to play the game in very low with anti aliasing set to Ultra.. but I tested it for you
now before I give you the number I am playing on a I7-4790K @ 4.7MHz 32GB 1866 Ram XMP on a Asus Z80 gryphon Board.

anyways I got : 140-150FPS where in all medium setting and anti aliasing at very low I get 120-135FPS and I can see where I am going

$90? No, it isn't worth it. The 1070 was released at $379.

Personally I wouldn't purchase any card that only- has 3GB of VRAM.

If you need it now 3Gb version is good choice. If you can wait, prices seem to go down and sites like neweeg and amazon seem to throw insane(in terms of last few months) deals on 1060 and above. If you check the trends, all Nvidia stuff goes down for a while, maybe if you wait for a month, price chillout wave will reach your County too ?

For your needs 3gb is probably enough but the 3gb version is slower than the 6gb as it has less CUDA cores enabled. Although $90 seems a big difference in price for the performance gained.

However have you considered a 580 4gb?

3gb in 2018 just seems like a bad idea. My old 780 has 3gb and there are several games I have to turn down settings to avoid maxing out VRAM and suffering stutter.

any 580 here cost like 400+ dollars it isnt a good choice to buy that instead.

Im thinking should i buy the monitor first because im buying a new gpu and a monitor. buy monitor then wait for a few or so months then buy the gpu?

What sort of FPS increase did that upgrade offer? I had a 970 too but took another route.

Oh the 1060/6gb and 970 are very similar in FPS , a little faster I would say maybe 10 fps better in PUBG, have not checked other games.
like I said I changed it because my 970 failed. I wasn't looking to do a side upgrade to a 1060... like everyone else where waiting for 1080 price to drop from the insanity we currently are at.

Yeah, you have my condolences. I saw that the 970 had passed. I steer people away from that and have seen you a time or two over here so I wouldn't expect you to sidegrade but now I have more reasons why they shouldn't do that.
