Is 4GB of DDR4 2400mhz RAM the problem for stuttering in Fortnite Battle Royale

Hey lads,

I just got a new pc, but the only bad thing about it was the ram, it was only 4gb of ddr4.

First of all, these are my specs:

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB OCV1
CPU: Intel i5-7500 3.4ghz
RAM: 4GB DDR4 2400mhz Ballistic
PSU: Corsair 400 ATX/EPS 80 PLUS
Bronz
OS: Windows 10 64-bit

I play Fortnite with around 200 frames per second, but at demanding places where battles are everywhere I get HUGE stuttering. It drops to around 10 fps for 1 second and after 3 seconds it does the same. At clear places where there are no battles it stays smooth as butter. Is the 4GB of RAM the problem here?

Solution
Well the only fix is to lower the quality of the game a bit, because you hit the pagefile since you have probably HDD.
Also go to control panel->System and Security-> System, then to the advanced system settings on the left, then it should pop up System properties with Advanced tab, then to the perfomance select "Settings" and adjust for best perfomance and hit apply.

Now lower the apps running in background, use less apps, for example dont run Browsers, steam if possible and that.
