RAM/Motherboard Compatibility Concern (z170/x99)

Hi, thanks for taking the time to help me.

I’m in the process of building a PC and am curious about my memory card saying it’s for z170/x99 platforms while my motherboard doesn’t seem to indicate it is:

RAM:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231890&ignorebbr=1

Motherboard:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157818&ignorebbr=1

I couldn’t find any info and decided it was because I’m either bad at research or it isn’t an issue. Thought I’d make sure first. PC part picker didn’t indicate any problems.

In case it’s somehow relevant I’m using the PC for general purpose but do want to do some decent gaming. My GPU is a GeForce GTX 1050Ti and CPU is an i5 8400 with a EVGA 600w 80+ power supply. Will do some upgrading when GPU prices come down but for now Skyrim and Oblivion modding is still all I need!

EDIT: Forgot to ask, if it turns out there is an issue would anyone mind suggesting a suitable replacement? I’d appreciate it.

Solution
It says that because those were the only 2 platforms that used DDR4 when the memory was listed for sell and was never updated when new platforms came out.
It should work.

This is actually a real issue. I've seen countless sites where it isn't updated. Some people might actually believe such descriptions and skip out on a good deal due to it...and then find a more expensive ram on a different site that has updated description. It's sloppy, imo.
