I a man getting a B350 PC mate motherboard and the ram I'm getting is Patriot Viper 3 Series, Black Mamba, DDR3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600MHz. Will this work?

The B350 uses DDR4 ram, the Viper 3 is DDR3 and will not physically fit. Stick to g-skill RipJaws V or Patriot Elite. Depending on if you are overclocking, then go for 3000/3200MHz, if not then 2400/2666MHz
