When I play heavy games like skyrim of battletech, after 5 mins in game, my LCD screen shuts off for 2 seconds then turns back on again by itself. I've recently cleaned the dust from the PC (i7-2600) with a geeforce gtx 960. The cores of the PC during gaming go up to mid 60s while the video card goes into the 50s at highest. I've switched the hdmi cables twice and made sure all connections were good but still the Screen goes off and on. What could be the issue ?

Another thing I noticed is that when my screen goes off, I can still hear the audio just fine. Today the screen started turning off even when I'm just idling online (reading an article, no pictures or video) is it possible that it could be my screen that's the problem ?
