I have a gtx 960 2gb. I need to get a power supply to power the gtx 960 and run efficiently. Which is good among corsair cx600, tx650 or evga 80+ 600w

Solution
The EVGA W1 series are close to crap, Corsair CX series (old series) are sub par quality, and those TX power supplies are rather old though I think they have DC-DC (there are atleast 3 versions of it).

Why do you want an efficient power supply? What are your electricity prices? Because for the majority of people using a 200w consuming PC like yours, efficiency is mostly negligible.

There are usually much better power supplies available, for example the Corsair Vengeance, Corsair CXM (2015), Corsair CX (2017), CoolerMaster MasterWatt, be Quiet Pure Power 10 400w+, or possibly better.

What is your budget and where are you located?

Avoid 80+ white PSUs (the EVGA one). Both corsair PSUs are very efficient and reliable, with the tx650 delivering slightly higher wattage, and 5 years of warranty (compared to the cx600w 3 year warranty). If you are sure that your build will need 600w, I suggest the tx650w.

Thanks very much for your quick response I definitely get tx650w....i recently bought a litewave 600W but it doesn't have enough cables, so I tried using a connector (Molex to 6pin) but my computer only flashes a power and goes off....after some searching, I came across tomshardware, you are doing a good job guys....

Thanks guys for the help, from the answers that are coming, it seems corsair is a better pick....I need a power supply that would power up my gtx960 without overloading and possibly restarts on it's own, my system is needed to run for long periods of time for gaming and other computer uses. Tx or cx version?

Go for the TX. The corsair order for quality goes like this: AX - HX - TX - GS - CX - VS. Plus, it has slightly better wattage.
