I wonder if there will be much performance difference between 16gb 2400mhz vs 2666mhz ddr4 ram.
The pc is mainly for gaming (witcher 3, assassin's creed origins, gta 5, etc). The specs are the following:
Processor: Intel i7 8700
Mobo: Asrock Fatal1ty H370 Performance
Graphic: Galax GTX 1070ti EX
I'm quite tight on budget so I am hoping to get the RAM under $140. Currently interested in Team Vulcan Series ddr4 2666mhz 2x8gb for only $135, but still looking for other options.
I noticed that my motherboard supports RAM only up to 2666mhz, so I'm not buying anything above that speed. Back to the question, will 2400mhz vs 2666mhz has noticeable performance difference?
Is there anything else I should pay attention to besides the speed?
