I know colored coolant used to have a major problem of clogging both tubes and blocks, but is that still a thing in 2018 or can I comfortably put EKWB's red coolant in my $3250 PC's custom loop? First time making a custom loop so I don't really know anything other than the basics and that everyone likes EKWB

Solution
All coloured liquids will leave residues over time, because there has to be something disolved in the water that gives it colour. However, I have had coloured coolants in my custom loops for years, and never had noticeable clogging issues. So i'd say go ahead and use that red coolant. Custom loops are used as much for the cooling than for the looks, so i'd say go ahead. :)
